CCD Messier marathon
At the Nyrola
Observatory we observed 82 Messier objects (all but
one observable at the location) in a single night of March 24/25, 2001 with
a 16-inch Meade LX200 telescope working at f3.3 and a SBIG ST7E CCD-camera.
Each object was imaged with 3x3 binned 60 second unfiltered exposure except
a few very bright objects that were imaged with shorter exposure to avoid
saturation.
